I have always been a fan of theater, even as a small child I dreamed of acting in a musical. My voice was not meant for singing though. This dream fainted away long before my puberty.  At the age of 14 I played a very small part in a show that was written by the groups itself:  a mix between Annie, sound of music, and every other fairy tail.

Then I got older and older and did not think about acting for a very long time.  Until the second year of the university. Via a friend I was introduced to Theater-sports. I joined the group at the University of Twente (Pro-Deo) and had loads of fun for almost five years. Combined with a full time job and the fact that I was outgrowing the students I stopped.  I had not been on the stage for more than a year  and  I started to miss it again (a lot), I wanted to do something with theater again; Something different, something new, something with new challenges. A colleague of mine told me about Theater Mystiek in Enschede. A group that organizes dinner show’s with a theater show that has a blink to horror. She also told me that they where looking for new people…

Only 2.5 weeks later I am member of this group. Of course still in a try-out period, but I can not wait to start (playing). The group is very nice and I look forward to perform with them.

Quite some people I know have stuff from the Ikea at home. This can be a bed, sofa or just a small piece like plates or glasses. I am also one of those that has some pieces. Though when I tried to find a TV table/cabinet I could not find what I wanted…

Therefor I hacked an Expedit square into a (for me) perfect cabinet. I even sent it to the ikea hackers website and managed to get online.

I now hope that my old fashion TV will last long enough, since I am not sure if this cabinet is big enough for the new TV model (Flat screen models).

A very long time ago, when I was a young girl, I received a present from my neighbour lady. She was at that time in the age of my grandparents. I received a milk-cup with a bear on  it and a bear in it.  All that time I have saved this cup and the bear…

Yesterday when I did some shopping I saw a similar cup and bear, I just had to by it…

It is different, though yet the same. It is modernized, though similair. This shows that despite the time is not standing still, despite that  fashion changes, gifts like this stay (almost) the same.

Sometimes you want to change the picture in your Facebook/Hyves/Linked-in. Though for this you need a nice new picture. I make a lot of pictures myself but searching through my images in my laptop I discovered there where not a lot of pictures of me.

So when a friend of mine came to visit me at home, I gave him my camera and asked him to make some pictures of me. This is the result:

I am who I am, and I look how I look, still I am quite happy with the result.

Wow… never have I decided something this fast.

Me and my brother received a (big) present of choice, from our parents; they are added together the age of 125 year and wanted to celebrate this with a gift to their children. Aint that nice!?!

Since my laptop was getting very old ( from 2002/2003 with only 30G) and very very very slow I definitely could use a new one. My brother helped me to find one and after a short negociation with my parents I have ordered the laptop.

It will be both a present from my parents as a bit of my own contribution. But it will come… and all decided in a couple of hours.  How bizar is that!!
