My name is Talitha, I am born in the Netherlands in a small town called Diemen, next to vibrant Amsterdam. Since my teenage years I have had several websites. This was a big mess; it took me more time to keep them up to date than that they actually were useful. Therefore I decided to minimize my websites and the result is Talitha’s place.
I have lived in Diemen till February 2003 and at the age of 23
I moved to France. I worked almost fourteen months at CERN, which is just across the border in Switzerland. Almost 6 months of this period I did a traineeship to obtain my Bachelor degree as electrical engineer. CERN extended my traineeship-contract by 8 months; this allowed me to participate in the continuation of the project. In the 14 months that I lived and worked in France/Suisse I have seen and experienced a lot. Many of my adventures and other trips are captured by my camera and combined into a separate website. My so-called CERN websites, with one part including my traineeship (Dutch) and one part the prolongation (English).

After this foreign experience I returned to the Netherlands. I decided to continue my study on the University of Twente, to obtain my Master’s of Electrical Engineering. My graduation was in August 2007. Currently I am working as an Electronics engineer/Technical project manager at a Hightech Mechatronics company: DEMCON.
My wonderful parents are still living in Diemen, and my older brother Frankwin (1978) lives in Dalfsen. He married Monique on the 7th of September of 2007 and they had a baby daughter, called Tessa, in November 2008 and a baby boy, called Colin, in May 2011.
